At LawMay P.C.,  We have successfully represented global e-commerce sellers and cross-border enterprises in complex federal litigations, emergency TRO defenses, and platform disputes. Below are representative matters demonstrating our strategic approach, aggressive defense, and committed to delivering efficient, strategic, and high-value legal services to our clients.

Successful Defeating TRO

Case 1: Securing a Reverse TRO to Reinstate High-Value Listings Before Black Friday
In 2025, we represented a U.S.-based Amazon seller in filing a Declaratory Judgment (DJ) action for non-infringement and patent invalidity in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington regarding a utility patent infringement dispute. Based on preliminary invalidity arguments, the court granted a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) and a Preliminary Injunction (PI) in our favor. On the eve of the "Black Friday" shopping season, we successfully assisted our client in quickly restoring their high-value product listings, effectively preventing the further expansion of potential business losses.

Case 2: Fast-Track Reverse TRO&PI to Mitigate Bad-Faith Marketplace Complaints

In 2025, we represented U.S. Amazon sellers on multiple occasions in filing Declaratory Judgment (DJ) actions for non-infringement and design patent invalidity in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. We successfully obtained TROs and PIs, helping clients restore their listings and effectively curbing further losses. In some of these cases, it took only about ten business days from filing the complaint to obtaining the "reverse" TRO and PI, rapidly reducing the impact on clients caused by bad-faith complaints.

Defending Utility Patent Infringement Claims & Forcing Case Withdrawal

In 2024–2025, we successfully represented a well-known e-cigarette company in defending a utility patent infringement lawsuit initiated by a prominent patent holder. Our defense included non-infringement arguments, unenforceability defenses, and counterclaims for damages. Through multiple rounds of effective negotiations and litigation strategies, the case was ultimately resolved on terms favorable to our client, and the plaintiff withdrew the case.

Overcoming Amazon APEX Neutral Evaluation & Restoring Suspended Listings

In 2023, we represented a well-known U.S. Amazon consumer electronics store in an Amazon APEX neutral patent evaluation case. Ultimately, through a U.S. Federal Declaratory Judgment (DJ) action, we achieved victory with full reinstatement of the product listings
