Hongchang "Richard" Deng
FOUNDER & MANAGING PARTNER

Richard Deng is a dual-qualified attorney licensed in both China and California, and a registered patent practitioner with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). As a partner at LawMay P.C., he focuses on cross-border intellectual property litigation and trade disputes involving patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.


Richard has extensive experience representing Chinese manufacturers, e-commerce sellers, and technology companies in U.S. federal courts and ITC Section 337 investigations. He has led or co-led dozens of cases involving Amazon takedowns, TRO litigation, and declaratory judgment actions, often securing rapid link restoration or favorable settlements. His strategic litigation approach is shaped by deep knowledge of U.S. procedure, platform policy, and commercial urgency.


He is also a certified mediator and legal advisor in Shenzhen, and frequently recognized as a rising leader in China’s international legal field.

Yi Yi
Co-Funder & PARTNER

Yi Yi is a California-licensed attorney with a cross-border practice based in Shenzhen and California. As co-founder of LawMay P.C., Yi leads the firm’s IP litigation and strategic counseling practice, representing manufacturers, e-commerce sellers, and technology startups in complex intellectual property disputes across U.S. federal courts and major online platforms.

With dual legal training in China and the United States, Yi brings bilingual precision and international insight to matters involving design patent litigation, trademark takedowns, and platform enforcement. He has successfully represented clients in declaratory judgment (DJ) actions and obtained temporary restraining orders (TROs) to lift improper product takedowns—restoring key listings on Amazon and other platforms within days.

Yi’s practice is defined by procedural sharpness, commercial urgency, and a deep understanding of cross-border enforcement dynamics. He regularly defends clients against TROs and preliminary injunctions, and advises on strategic design-arounds, IP risk, and litigation avoidance.
