Jane Chen

Xiangru "Jane" Chen (Of Counsel) is a Washington State-licensed attorney focusing on U.S.–China cross-border legal services.

Biography

Ms. Chen provides Chinese companies and cross-border clients with U.S. federal civil and commercial litigation, IP-related dispute resolution, and overseas-expansion compliance support. With a deep understanding of both the Chinese and U.S. legal systems and business environments, she helps clients develop practical solutions aligned with U.S. law and commercial practice.

Within the team she has participated in federal court cases and appellate proceedings across multiple jurisdictions, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC) and the Eleventh Circuit, as well as the Southern District of Florida, the Western District of Washington, the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the Northern District of Illinois, with practical experience handling cross-border litigation and complex procedural issues.

Ms. Chen has studied and worked in the United States since 2009, with experience in the commercial litigation division of a Washington, D.C. government agency, the chambers of a Maryland appellate judge, and the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration.

She also holds a background in architecture and building technology, enabling her to provide more technically grounded and practical legal support in commercial disputes involving technical facts and engineering contracts.
